You’ve heard about it. Fitna is a 2008 short film by Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders. I’ve downloaded it two days ago & watched it, wasting, for the sake of nothingness, 20 minutes of my precious life!

Looking at the film from the ‘above’ I noticed:
1- It focuses mainly on Jews, picturing them as the “lamb of God” .. backing up more support to them in stealing our lands and slaughtering our people.
2- Linking the film with the September 11 incident is a clever tactical move, but not to the people who know that Sep 11 is a mere joke.
3- The ‘cut & past’ technique is being exploited to the maximum to fulfill the prematurely baked ideas of the director.
4- The ‘logic’ of Al-Qaeda is being pictured as the official representative of Islam.
5- Women had a share in the film, being pictured in Muslim societies as bloody animals. Something which the film missed to mention was that we have them for dinner too!
6- In order not to lose gays and lesbians’ emotions, the film defends their right to live freely and happily without any annoyance - by Islam.

I am glad that Muslims’ reaction against the film was this time positive. Actually و إذا خاطبهم الجاهلون قالوا سلاما ..

Maurits Berger, professor of Islam in the West at Leiden University, didn’t seem to be too shocked by Fitna. “It’s a series of images and photos, headlines from recent years which we already know,” adding that the short film tells more about Wilders than the Koran. “It represents his fear of Islam.”

Mohamed Rabbae, chairman of the National Moroccan Council in The Netherlands, told the Associated Press that “on the one hand, this is less bad than we thought he was going to do. But he also gives the impression the Quran justifies violence, and that is really wrong.” (Note: Rabbae had not seen the film, yet.)

3- Pres. Ahmadi Najad
4- Ayatollah Khamen’e

Towards the end, the film warns that the number of Muslims in Europe has reached 54 million. Then it closes by the call for “Stop Islamism. Defend our freedom.”

In fact, the film didn’t move any ‘piece’ of emotion or reason within me. It only proved to me how people sometimes tend to speak from their as**s! There is much to talk about, but guess what? it doesn’t deserve it. I wish I didn’t write this post!
